Now Artes produces fabrics for clothing, furnishing and accessories for the major brands in the international fashion system. Little by little textiles produced by hand have been added to by types of product that are more specific for the accessory sector.

Today the creative resources of our company have been extended through Antica Valserchio with products such as to offer a complete range of types and qualities. The products are strongly characterised by both the special production process and the use of the finest fibres such as Cashmere, Vicuna, merino wool and silk.

Since 2006, with the aim of preserving and widening the use of the ancient art of hand weaving the SCUOLA TESSILE GARFAGNANA or Garfagnana Textile School has been founded. A training project for proposing an experience that not only aims to testify to the life, objects, symbols and creativity of the past but above all, reproduces the relationship between tradition and future with an eye to recovering the ancient and continuity. The only organised set-up of this size, Artes is today the major company for the hand made market and for Made in Italy in general.
